Deportivo seem to be out of the running for the European spots after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Racing Santander, their sixth game in a row without a win. Riki put the Galicians ahead with less than a minute on the clock after picking up a long clearance from Aranzubia, but Coltorti and the woodwork prevented the striker from adding to his tally before the interval. Munitis went close for the visitors after the break though, and with seven minutes to go Toni Moral headed in a Munitis cross to save a valuable point for his side.
