Mallorca move up to fourth in the table after a 1-1 draw at Zaragoza on Wednesday evening. Rubén headed in Borja Valero's corner to put the Islanders ahead early on, but Suazo equalised for the locals soon afterwards, the Chilean striker showing good control from Ponzio's long clearance before lobbing Aouate. Things could have been different had referee Turienzo Alvarez not disallowed a strike by Aduríz with a quarter of an hour to go for a non-existent offside, but in the end both sides settled for a point which keeps the locals four points above the drop zone.
