Pichichis
Despite the high number of goals scored this week (31), the top scorers didn't make much of an impression. Only the Rayo BoBos (Bolo and Bolic) added to their tally, with Bolic getting his third in as many games. Two new names to add to the list, Real Sociedad's Jankauskas, who got a couple in his team's 4-1 victory, and Oli, who prior to joining Oviedo had gone over a year without scoring at Betis. It was a strange week, with no penalties at all and three own goals, from Amor, Bravo and Cáceres. Rivaldo went off to play for Brazil and came back disillusioned, having been jeered and whistled at by his own supporters. He said that if that continued, he would not play again for his country. Barcelona are hoping he will keep his word. They missed him last week, and he came back tired for this weekend's game. (20.11.00)
