Pichichis
Another good week for the boys at the sharp end, with Javi Moreno (a penalty) and Michel getting a goal each to close the gap on Rivaldo at the top. No European competitions this week, with Real Madrid's participation in the Intercontinental cup in Tokyo the only midweek activity involving Spanish clubs. Plenty of good performances in the league though, with Catanha's hat-trick against Barcelona top of the list. He comes in to our table for the first time with eight, not quite enough to take him above one of his opponents Kluivert, who got two in reply to take him up to nine. Raúl got another against Osasuna, his tenth of the season and his 107th in the first division in his seventh season as a professional, and Osasuna became the 31st club he has scored against in that time. Bolic moved level again with his twin-striker Bolo with his fourth in five games in the league. (04.12.00)
