Pichichis
Raúl moves to the top of our chart on the same day that Real Madrid move to the top of the league table. Raúl's goal through the legs of Alberto set his side on their way to their fifth league victory in a row, and Figo finished things off with his sixth penalty of the season later on. Both players are candidates for FIFA's footballer of the year award, with Figo favourite to take the prize ahead of his teammate and Manchester United's David Beckham as we go to press. Patrick Kluivert stays in third place, his goal on Sunday giving Barcelona their first win in five games, and Urzaiz moves up to fourth with his tenth league goal of the season, taking him two ahead of three players, Raúl, Diego Tristán and Catanha, for the league's Pichichi trophy. Catanha got his eighth (ten in all competitions) in Celta's win over Zaragoza. Urzaiz is not the only Bilbao to score goals this season though, with Ezquerro entering our chart for the first time after scoring twice in the cup. He is now joint top scorer in that competition with Guti. Tote got his first cup goal as well during the week, taking him on to seven in all competitions, one above a group of players including Rubén of Las Palmas, who returns to the table after saving a point for his side with a late goal this weekend.
