Pichichis

A low scoring weekend after a two week break for international matches, with none of the top eight teams in the league managing to win. Only four of our Pichichis added to their totals this week, including Villarreal's Víctor who enters the chart for the first time. Valencia's Rubén Baraja had a successful week though, scoring twice for Spain against Northern Ireland and then adding another in the league on Saturday, making up for his two penalty misses a fortnight ago. Turkish international Nihat joined his team mate Kovacevic on five as Real Sociedad moved to the top of the first division for the first time in 21 years, and Saviola got a late consolation goal for Barcelona at Valladolid.
