Pichichis

Few goals this week, but the top pichichis got most of those there were Ronaldo got his usual "golito" against Deportivo and Raúl hit the winner later on to give Real Madrid an important victory against a direct rival for the title. Depor's goal came from Pandiani, who seems to blow hot and cold according to the seasons and now that winter is approaching is getting his name back on the scoresheet. The Uruguayan striker also scored a vital goal in the Champions' League midweek, as did Luque who comes back into our chart as a result.

Two other newcomers as well this week in the table, with Kluivert finally getting his season under way with two goals at Espanyol and Barcelona's ex number ten Riquelme sticking them during his loan spell at Villarreal. The new incumbent of the number ten shirt Ronaldinho returned from a month long injury to open the scoring in the local derby, and it is no coincidence that his reappearance inspired a first win after a draw and three defeats without him.

Riquelme's new team mate Sonny Anderson also got his name on the goalscorers' list in Villarreal's win over Real Sociedad, and there were goals this week too for Mista in the UEFA cup and Milosevic, Salva and Eto'o in the league. (15.12.03)
