Pichichis

Goals galore from our Pichichis this week, with fourteen of our nineteen top scorers adding to their tally. Ronaldinho was the man on best form though, with a spectacular goal in the UEFA cup and two more at the weekend against Deportivo as Barcelona made it seven straight wins on the trot. Eto'o, Riquelme and Sonny Anderson also scored in their midweek UEFA matches as Spanish sides all did well, and Luque got a vital Champions' League goal for Depor against Juventus the day before. The young striker was responsible for the miss of the season though at the weekend against Barcelona, which could have saved a point after his side had gone three down to goals by Saviola and the aforementioned Ronaldinho, but had recovered with two headed goals by half time substitute Pandiani.

Ronaldo got his usual goal at the weekend and Figo got another as Real Madrid hammered Celta, although Milosevic did at least make the scoreline look more respectable with a late consolation strike. Salva moved up to second place in our table with his third in consecutive games, re-opening the debate about who Iñaki Sáez will take to Portugal with him this summer. Mista is another candidate for selection and he too added to his total at Espanyol, although Sáez still prefers Tamudo, who got both goals for Valencia's opponents to win the match, and also Fernando Torres, who scored what was probably the goal of the weekend to win Atlético's game at Mallorca in the last minute.
