Pichichis

Samuel Eto'o's return to Mallorca left him with mixed feelings as he scored two goals on his return to his old club. The Barcelona striker didn't celebrate either of them out of respect for his old fans as he followed up Larsson's early strike to virtually end the game by half time. Eto'o tops the table together with Milosevic, who also got his fifth in as many league games as Osasuna went on to beat Getafe 2-1. If you want goals though, go and see Zaragoza. They currently have a 12-11 record from their first five games, and for the second time in a just over a week they won 4-3 at home, with Javi Moreno getting two and Villa and Savio also getting their names on the scoresheet against Levante. Manchev did give them a bit of a fright though with two goals before the Maños staged a second half recovery. Elsewhere Vicente got his fourth of the season to help Valencia to the top of the table, and Víctor and Urzaiz returned to out charts with important goals for their respective sides. (27.09.04)
