Pichichis

A poor showing by the first division's representatives in the second round of the cup this week, with the fifteen teams remaining only managing eight wins and eighteen goals between them, even though they all played (albeit away) against lower division opposition. And the only recognised goalscorer amongst them was Betis striker Oliveira, who also got one of the goals in his side's epic win over Barcelona at the weekend to make it into our chart for the first time this season.

It would have been another low scoring weekend again had it not been for Real Madrid, who finally came good with six goals against lowly Albacete. Ronaldo had an inspired night, scoring two and setting up another for Owen, and Raúl also got his name on the scoresheet to finally appear in our rankings. Elsewhere Urzaiz helped himself to a couple (but see also whitestick section about his first goal), and Maxi got a penalty to take his tally to seven for the season (and in his case check out the villains section for what he did afterwards).
