Pichichis

It was back to Earth with a bump after last weekend's haul, the 16 goals scored in the first division at the weekend equalling the lowest of the season. It could have been worse though had Zaragoza not scored five (including one own goal), with young striker David Villa getting his name on the scoresheet twice and Savio also adding one near the end. The only other of our top Pichichis to increase their tallies were Brazil's two superstars Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, the former getting both of Real Madrid's goals against Levante and the latter saving the day for leaders Barcelona with a well struck free kick. Elsewhere Pacheco hovers just outside of our chart after scoring his tenth of the season for Albacete. Bad news in Europe as well, Spain's last representative Villarreal crashing out against Alkmaar in the UEFA cup, leaving La Liga without a side in the any of the semi-finals for the first time in 15 years.
