Pichichis

Samuel Eto'o kept his nose in front in the race for the league Pichichi title with a vital strike for Barcelona against Albacete. Earlier in the evening Diego Forlán had moved to within one goal of him after getting a brace against Getafe, and Ronaldo is also closing up strongly after scoring two on Saturday at Real Sociedad, taking his tally to six in the last four games.

There is also a lot of interest in Spain as to who will be the Spanish born Pichichi, and David Villa put the pressure on Fernando Torres with two goals against Osasuna. Savio also got one in that match to take his total in all competitions to thirteen, one less than Maxi, whose goal against Mallorca came too late to save even a point. (02.05.05)
