Pichichis

Another goal from Eto'o this weekend at Valencia, keeping him three ahead of his nearest rivals in the race for the Pichichi title. Ronaldinho was the man who set him up just a couple of minutes after he scored himself, giving Barcelona the win which probably ensures them the league title. Ronaldo ominously moved level with Forlán in second place though with two more as Real Madrid thrashed Racing Santander 5-0, his eighth goal in six matches. Including his time at the old enemy, the Brazilian striker's first half penalty was his 100th goal in La Liga, only bettered by Raúl, Urzaiz, Morientes and Julen Guerrero amongst players still active at this point in time.

Talking of Raúl, he produced probably his best display of the season with two goals in the same game, taking his tally at Real Madrid to 250. Michael Owen got the opener to make it 15 for the season, and Urzaiz was also on the scoresheet again as Athletic beat Zaragoza to keep in with a chance of a place in Europe. Elsewhere Oliveira got the goal which gave Betis their first home victory against Sevilla in ten years, and Riquelme struck again to help Villarreal consolidate their place in the Champions League spots.
