Samuel Eto'o consolidated
his position at the top of the Pichichi chart with two goals against Getafe on
Tuesday night, and he moves six clear of his nearest rival. After last season's
disappointment, it now looks as if this year he is not going to miss out. The
midweek round of games only produced 19 goals, with Diego Milito moving up to
third in our chart after scoring against Real Madrid. The headlines from that
match though (at least in one sports paper) were "Ronie rides again" after
Ronaldo got his first goal in seven games to save a late point for the ex
Galacticos. Elsewhere Diego Forlán got his second of the week in
Villarreal's draw at neighbours Valencia, and Aloisi makes it back in to our
rankings after a late penalty helped Alavés to a much needed three
points against Celta. (24.03.06) |
