Pichichis

Not the best of weeks for Spanish clubs in Europe. Barcelona's 2-2 draw with Chelsea left them with a lot to do, the English club fighting back after Deco and Gudjohnsen put them ahead twice. Valencia had the same scoreline at Shakhtar, with Morientes on target once again, but in their case it was a positive result as they only needed the one point to qualify. Real Madrid are also through to the next round thanks to an own goal by Steaua's Nicolita that made Robinson's miss look good!

Kanouté and Diego Milito currently head the league Pichichi race, and both got their names on the scoresheet again at the weekend. Ronaldinho is not far behind them though after he converted another penalty, and Diego Forlán also scored as Villarreal beat Betis. Several players joined the group on three goals this week, Deco and Valdo reaching the total with strikes in Europe and Nené, Riera, Del Moral, Javi Guerrero and Ewerthon all increasing their tally in the league.
