A timely return given the upcoming friendly international against England? And the latter has been making the best of the chances Frank Rijkaard has given him, getting both goals in the cup tie at Alavés and then coming on to score against neighbours Espanyol at the weekend. It didn't do much good though, Luis García and Tamudo on the scoresheet as the Periquitos beat their arch rivals in Montjuic for the first time in five years.

Kanouté and Van Nistelrooy top our chart though, the Sevilla striker converting a penalty despite a defeat against Mallorca, and the Real Madrid man getting the only goal as his side beat Zaragoza.
