Pichichis

Three out of the four Spanish sides made it through to the quarter finals of the UEFA cup, Celta the only team to bow out. Espanyol's Luis García, Tamudo and Pandiani were all on target in Espanyol's 4-0 win over Maccabi Haifa, Webó got Osasuna's goal against Rangers, and Palop was one of the scorers in Sevilla's epic extra time victory at Shakhtar Donetsk, the first Spanish goalkeeper to get his name on the scoresheet for several seasons in any competition.

Back to the league, and Kanouté converted a penalty as Sevilla beat Celta 2-0 to stay clear at the top of the Pichichi chart. Zaragoza's Diego Milito is only one behind him though in league goals after his fifth in six matches, and Luis García got another for Espanyol to add to his midweek strike. Barcelona still lead the pack though after their 0-4 win at Recreativo, with Eto'o scoring twice and Messi getting another. Both make a welcome return to our chart this week after their long lay-offs through injury. (19.03.07)
