Pichichis

The UEFA Cup final will be Spanish speaking this year after Espanyol and Sevilla both won through their midweek games. Espanyol beat Werder Bremen 1-2 with goals from Corominas (his ninth of the season in all competitions) and Lacruz, and Sevilla overturned a one goal first leg deficit to win 2-0 against Osasuna, Brazilians Luis Fabiano and Renato on target. The final will be in Glasgow in two weeks' time, and blue and white kilts are already on sale in Barcelona shops!

Van Nistelrooy is the new league Pichichi after scoring twice in Real Madrid's top of the table victory over Sevilla. Van the man must now be favourite for the prize having scored five in the last three weeks as Madrid put in a late bid for the title, although leaders Barcelona won't give up without a fight, Eto'o getting one of the goals as Frank Rijkaard's side won 0-2 at Real Sociedad. Elsewhere there were goals for Pandiani, Güiza and Jankovic in their respective games, and David Silva also joined the group on nine goals after getting the winner for Valencia at Deportivo.
