Luis Fabiano has been in the
shadow of Kanouté over the last couple of years, but his two goals
against Atlético in the midweek round of games takes him above his team
mate to the top of our chart. His scoring feat didn't even earn a point for his
side though after they lost 4-3, Agüero again on target together with Maxi
to take Aguirre's side into the top four. Strangely, half of the 26 goals this
time around came in two games, Real Madrid thrashing a manager-less Valencia
1-5 with Raúl scoring in the first minute and Van Nistelrooy netting two
more. Elsewhere Güiza got Mallorca's goal at Deportivo and Rossi converted
a penalty for Villarreal against neighbours Levante to take their tallies for
the season to six. (02.11.07) |
