All three Spanish sides won their UEFA Cup ties midweek, with Atlético Madrid and Villarreal making sure of a place in the next round and Getafe all but doing the same. The only one of our top Pichichis to score though was Agüero who got one of Atlético's two goals in Copenhagen.

The top boys were on target at the weekend though, starting with our leader Luis Fabiano who got two in Sevilla's 3-0 win over Murcia on Sunday. Forlán got the only goal for Atlético against neighbours Getafe later in the evening, and Van Nistelrooy did likewise for Real Madrid at Athletic Bilbao the day before. Diego Milito and Tamudo are back in our chart after scoring the opening goals in a thrilling 3-3 draw between Zaragoza and Espanyol, with Oliveira getting two late on to save a point for the home side.
