No goals in the Champions
League semi-final between Barcelona and Manchester United, and Frank Rijkaard's
side were unable to score for the third match in a row in Coruña at the
weekend. All will be decided next week at Old Trafford, but if Barça
lose it could be the end of an era.
A low scoring weekend in
general, with only 20 goals in the ten matches, and only four from our leading
Pichichi's. Güiza closed to within a goal of leading Pichichi Luis Fabiano
with one of Mallorca's three against Racing, and Agüero is level with him
on an all competition basis after getting the equaliser for Atlético at
Getafe. Elsewhere Valencia's David Villa got a penalty to give new coach Voro a
first victory in the game at Osasuna, and Oliveira also scored from the spot to
save a late draw for Zaragoza at Espanyol. (28.04.08) |
