Pichichis

The matches are coming thick and fast, and this weekend saw David Villa overtake both Cristian Ronaldo and Messi in the Liga Pichichi stakes. His goal was not enough for Valencia to beat Atlético though, Agüero also on the scoresheet in a 2-2 draw. Neither of the two superstars scored for once (something of an event in itself), although Barça and Madrid both won, with Ibrahimovic coming on as an early sub at Málaga to score a record fifth in a row, and Benzema netting a brace in the Bernabeu against Tenerife. And elsewhere Aduríz, Pablo Hernández and Abel Aguilar all scored their third goals of the season (Aguilar getting two) to join the list of top scorers in all club competitions to date. (28.09.09)
