Villains
A slightly different format from now on, to reflect the real villains. Sometimes the referee misses the odd incident, and if it's Prados García he is awol for most of the match. The disciplinary committee sometimes rules on video evidence, as in the case of Arzeno, who was given a six match suspension for elbowing Jankauskas without even getting a caution. Serious offenders may also receive one direct red, but be suspended for several matches (e.g. Marioni, 4 games out). To reflect this, we are giving an extra point if the red card is direct, and another for every match for which they are suspended. Players sent off in the week will be penalized in our table with a provisional one match suspension pending the disciplinary hearing (marked with asterisk). This week five players were sent off, Pandiani and Rotchen with direct reds, and Frank De Boer, Soria and Loren for two bookable offences. The revised table is as follows: (25.9.00)
