Villains
Rayo Vallecano apparently want to take all the trophies this season. With three players in the top scorers table and Lopetegui amongst the best keepers, Glaucio leaps in to the top of the villains table just ahead of his teammate Poschner. Glaucio's sending off brings him level with Marioni and with Catanha, who last year was one of our top scoring heroes and this year has crossed the line to the villains page. Only one other red card this week, Espanyol's Tamudo apparently wanting to make up for lost time, scoring twice since returning from an injury and a failed transfer to Glasgow Rangers, and picking up a booking and a sending off in his two league games. Heinze drops out of the table after a case of mistaken identity, the card which everyone thought was for him actually going to his colleague Peña, so Marini becomes the first player to reach the first threshold of five yellow cards, which we expect will earn him a suspension in the next disciplinary committee meeting this week.
