Villains

Espanyol's Lopo moves to the top of our chart this week after getting himself sent off in the match at Valladolid. He was probably unlucky to be shown a rigorous second yellow card just before half time though, but with two yellows in earlier games this season he moves out ahead of the rest. Valladolid's Torres Gómez joined him a few minutes later though after picking up a straight red for a hard tackle, the referee once again rather harshly deciding he was the last defender in the attacker's route to goal.

The strangest sending off of the day though was at the Riazor, where Deportivo substitute Scaloni was warming up on the touchline when he saw a decision he didn't like. Never a shrinking violet, the Argentine hard man let the linesman know his views. It didn't go down well with the referee though, and out came the red card, much to everyone's complete dismay.
