Only two red cards this weekend, Osasuna's Muñoz picking up a straight red for pushing an opponent as players clashed near the end of in the match against Deportivo, and Sevilla's Dragutinovic getting his marching orders late in the first half against Athletic Bilbao after a flying elbow earned him a second booking. They will be joined on the sidelines next weekend by eleven other players who completed the next "five yellow card" cycle, including Luccin (Atlético), Duscher (Deportivo) and Rivas (Getafe) who picked up their tenth bookings of the season, and Etxeberría (Athletic), Nano (Betis), Fernando Sanz (Málaga), Clavero (Osasuna), Jonathan (Racing), Roberto Carlos (Real Madrid), Novo (Real Sociedad) and Marcos Senna (Villarreal), all of whom received their fifth. PS. The appeal committee decided to cancel the red card shown to Osasuna's Muñoz at the weekend, and he will therefore be available for their match against Barcelona on Sunday. (09.03.06)
