Villains

Oh dear, Fernando Vázquez! The Celta coach believes that referees have it in for him, but who would blame them when Vázquez rants at them, as he did at the end of the match against Real Sociedad. His outpourings have earned him a two match ban once again, and not for the first season he rockets in to our chart.

Three more red cards as well in the last round of games before the holiday break, including two in the match between Getafe and Espanyol. Casquero was the first to go after being shown a second yellow card for diving in the area, and Chica followed him later on, also for a second bookable offence. And Levante's Laurent Robert was also sent off in the game at Osasuna after picking up a second caution ten minutes in to the second half.

All three will be able to take extended holidays, as will eight other players who reached the five yellow card mark, including Luccin and Maniche (Atlético), Deco and Ronaldinho (Barcelona), David Cortés (Getafe), Ballesteros (Mallorca), David Navarro (Valencia) and Quique Alvarez (Villarreal).
