The only blot on the copy book was Celta's delegate José Ricardo Fernández Rodríguez, who was shown two yellow cards for protesting against the referee's decisions. There were however eight players who will miss the next round of games after completing the five card cycle of bookings, including Beckham (Real Madrid), Paredes (Getafe) and Pinillos (Racing), who were given their tenth, and Seitaridis (Atlético), Nano (Betis), Rubiales (Levante), Albelda (Valencia) and Josico (Villarreal), who were given their fifth.
