Villains

Funny how things go. Last week we had 10 red cards, the second highest of the season, and this week we had none, for players at least. The only blot on the copy book was Celta's delegate José Ricardo Fernández Rodríguez, who was shown two yellow cards for protesting against the referee's decisions. Taking over the mantle from Fernando Vázquez? There were however eight players who will miss the next round of games after completing the five card cycle of bookings, including Beckham (Real Madrid), Paredes (Getafe) and Pinillos (Racing), who were given their tenth, and Seitaridis (Atlético), Nano (Betis), Rubiales (Levante), Albelda (Valencia) and Josico (Villarreal), who were given their fifth. PS Beckham was let off his yellow card (much to the chagrain of Juande Ramos), and will be available for the clash between Real Madrid and Sevilla this weekend.
