Five more red cards on day two, all split between two matches. There were two in the game at the Nou Camp. Athletic Bilbao's young full back Koikili (apparently Basque for Cecil!) was shown a straight red for a crunching tackle on an opponent, and Barça's Márquez was sent off a few minutes earlier for a second bookable offence. The other three red cards came in the fixture between Getafe and Recreativo, Cotelo the first to go for a push on Sinama-Pongolle which the striker exaggerated. Sinama was booked twice himself though, the second for protesting right at the end of the match, and Recre coach Víctor Muñoz was also given his marching orders for telling the referee where he could stick his whistle!
