Regueiro heads up our chart after the midweek round of matches. The ex Racing and Valencia winger was one of two Murcia players to be sent off against Almería, he and Gallardo both being shown two yellow cards in the second half by Turienzo Alvarez. Regueiro complicated matters though by insulting the referee on his way off the field, and his second yellow was changed to a red. Only one other player sent for an early bath on day 5, Racing's Duscher getting his marching orders for a hard tackle on Villarreal's Cani. (28.09.07)
