Villains

Dani Alves takes our "Villains" award this season, the Sevilla full back outdistancing his nearest rivals thanks to his head-but on one of his opponents and consequent two match ban at Betis last weekend. The last round of fixtures of the season is normally full of incidents as nerves get the better of players, but strangely this weekend was totally different, and there was not even one red card in the ten games. In fact referees showed what must be a season's low of 39 yellows, and only five players will be suspended for the first match of next season after picking up their fifth bookings, including José Serrano (Levante), Ricardo (Osasuna), Sinama-Pongolle (Recreativo), Mosquera (Sevilla) and Bruno (Villarreal).
