Villains

A quiet week this week, with no incident of note in the cup quarter finals and only two red cards at the weekend. Numancia's Palacios was sent off in the Nou Camp on Saturday for a second bookable offence late on (later pardoned by the disciplinary committee), and Racing's Oscar Serrano got his marching orders the following day for bringing down Sevilla's Adriano shortly before half time.

They will be joined on the sidelines next weekend by eleven players who reached the five yellow card threshold, including Maniche and Ujfalusi (Atlético), Fernando Vega (Betis), Sergio Sánchez (Espanyol), Cortés and Gavilán (Getafe), Eliseu (Málaga), Bouzón and Javi Fuego (Recreativo), Neru (Sporting) and Bruno (Villarreal).
