Another twelve red cards at the weekend, including six in the game between Athletic Bilbao and Racing Santander! Racing's Marcano, Pinillos and Pereira were all given their marching orders for second bookable offences, as was Yeste (his third red this year). And when Orbaiz and Racing's physical trainer were both shown straight reds near the end there was overcrowding in the early bathroom!

Also sent off for second bookable offences in their respective matches were Simao (Atlético), Rafa (Getafe), Castro (Mallorca) and Angel (Villarreal), and there were straight reds for Deportivo's physical trainer and Betis's doctor! The offenders will be joined on the sidelines next weekend by Iriney (Almería), Ayoze (Mallorca), Garay (Racing) and Romaric (Sevilla), who were all shown their fifth yellow cards this weekend. PS The disciplinary committee let off Pinillos, Marcano and Angel on appeal, so they will be available for their managers for the next games.
