Villains

Four red cards at the weekend, including two for Sporting's Bilic and José Angel against Sevilla, both for second bookable offences. Barcelona's Dani Alves was also sent off after picking up a second yellow card against Espanyol, and Villarreal manager Juan Carlos Garrido was red-carded for telling the referee where to stick it! That came just a week after his brother and assistant manager Raúl .was sent off for the same reason. Runs in the family? Anyway, they will all be on the sidelines next weekend, together with the following players who completed the yellow card cycle, Paulo Assunçao (Atlético), Colsa (Racing) and Borja (Valladolid) with ten bookings, and Iraola (Athletic), Colotto (Deportivo), Raúl Baena (Espanyol), Monreal (Osasuna) and Albiol (Real Madrid) with five. (20.04.10)

PS. Colsa's yellow card was cancelled on appeal, and he will therefore not be suspended for the next game.
