Villains

Another red card for a Real Madrid player against Barcelona, although this time Di María's second yellow card in the Spanish cup final came too late to change the result. Madrid won it 1-0 to give Mourinho his first trophy since joining the club. Only two red cards this weekend in the league, Villarreal's Marchena the first to go for a second bookable offence in the match at Sevilla, the eleventh red card of his career. And in the Monday night game between Zaragoza and Almería Ander Herrera got his marching orders late on for a tackle from behind on an opponent. They will be joined on the sidelines next weekend by five players who completed the yellow card cycle, Juanma Ortíz (Almería) and San José (Athletic) who both picked up their tenth yellow cards of the season, and Javi López (Espanyol), Tejera (Mallorca) and Torrejón (Racing), all of whom were shown their fifth.
