Something of an unwanted record this week for Osasuna's Satrustegui, who has now been sent off in both of his first two professional games. The young left back got his marching orders once again for a second booking with a quarter of an hour to go in the game at Espanyol, although to his relief his side held on to win. The weekend started though with the big Madrid derby between Real and Atlético, with Manzano's team ending the game with nine men after Courtois in the first half and Godín in the second both picked up straight red cards for giving away penalties. And there were three other red cards in the rest of the games, a straight one for Zaragoza's Juan Carlos late in the match against Sevilla, and double bookings for Mallorca's Bigas against Racing, and Málaga's Toulalan against Villarreal. Xabi Alonso managed to pick up his fifth booking of the season against Atleti, meaning he misses the game against Sporting but will be available for the "Clásico" against Barcelona in a fortnight's time. Banned for the next round of matches as well will be Turan (Atlético), Nyom (Granada), Barkero and Juanlu (both Levante), Tito (Rayo) and Juárez (Zaragoza), all of whom also picked up their fifth yellow cards of the current campaign.
