For the second weekend in a row only one player was sent off, Osasuna's Lamah getting his marching orders late in the game against Real Madrid after picking up two yellow cards in a row from referee Muñiz Fernández for "making observations about one of my decisions". Muñiz doesn't mention in his report what those observations were, but you can be sure that it wasn't just "I say ref, are you sure you were right about that?!?". Earlier in the match Muñiz also showed a red card for local coach Medilibar for "airily protesting one of my decisions, leaving the technical area and waving his arms about in a sign of disagreement!". A lot of that goes on in Spain it seems, and referees don't like it! Elsewhere two of Spain's centre backs Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid) and Javi Martínez (Athletic Bilbao) will miss the next round of games after picking up their tenth yellow cards of the season, and also out next weekend will be Koke (Atlético Madrid), Trochowski (Sevilla), Zapata (Villarreal) and Mateos, Apoño and Luis García (Zaragoza), all of whom were shown their fifth.
