Six red cards this weekend, including one for Zaragoza's Abraham for a second bookable offence midway through the game against Barcelona, and one for his coach Manolo Jiménez for protesting. Two yellow cards as well for Miranda (Atlético), Angel (Villarreal) and Bravo (Real Sociedad), the latter only getting his second booking as players clashed after the final whistle, and Racing's Francis got his marching orders after giving away a penalty on Málaga's Rondón with only two minutes of the game gone. The penalty was saved but Racing went on to lose 3-0. All will miss the midweek round of games together with Mario Suárez (Atlético) and Diop (Racing), who both picked up their tenth bookings of the season, and Salvio (Atlético), Fàbregas (Barcelona), Raúl Rodríguez (Espanyol), Mané (Getafe), Demichelis (Málaga), Piti (Rayo) and Carmelo (Sporting), who all were shown their fifth.
