Five red cards this weekend, but curiously only two teams involved. Rayo Vallecano ended their game at Sporting on Saturday with nine men after Labaka and Casado were both sent off, the first for a foul on Bilic and the second after picking up two yellow cards. And on Sunday Betis also finished two men short against Valencia after Dorado and Jorge Molina were both red carded, the first for bringing down Feghouli as he advanced on goal early in the second half, and the second for insulting the linesman's mother. Betis assistant coach Roberto Ríos was red-carded at the same time for his protests, and Molina and Ríos were both given two match bans. Joining them all on the sidelines next weekend will be Sevilla's Medel, who reached the 15 yellow card mark, Bilbao's Aurtenetxe, Mallorca's Cáceres and Valencia's Albelda, who picked up their tenth bookings, and Real Sociedad's Demidov and Villarreal's Català, who were all given their fifth.
