Just three red cards this weekend, including two for Getafe players in the 0-2 defeat against Espanyol on Sunday lunchtime. Borja was the first to go early on in the second half for a second bookable offence, and Fede Fernández followed him down the tunnel a few minutes later for a hard tackle on Sergio García. Later in the day Athletic Bilbao's Iturraspe also picked up two yellow cards in the match at Deportivo, although it came too late to change the 1-1 scoreline.

All will be joined on the sidelines next weekend by another ten players who completed the five yellow card cycle, including Zaragoza's Sapunaru, who picked up his fifteenth booking of the season, Diego Costa (Atlético), Diop (Levante), Oier and Armenteros (Osasuna) and Botía (Sevilla), who were all given their tenth, and Cristian Alvarez and Colotto (Espanyol), Recio (Granada) and Griezmann (Real Sociedad), who were all shown their fifth. PS. Diego Costa was let off his yellow card, and will therefore be available to play in next weekend's Madrid city derby. Not the news Mourinho's side wanted to hear in the middle of their Champions League semi-finals!
