Only one red card this weekend, Sporting’s Lillo getting his marching orders for a second bookable offence late on in Friday night’s game at Málaga. He will be joined on the sidelines in a fortnight’s time (after the short international break) by five players who completed the five yellow card cycle, Luis Suárez (Barcelona), Cejudo (Betis), Iago Aspas (Celta), Kike García (Eibar) and Camacho (Málaga). Did Suárez force the booking to be clear for next month’s “clásico” with Real Madrid? Who can tell, but don’t be surprised if Neymar, now on four yellow cards, does the same as well in the next couple of weeks! (07.11.16)
