Only one red card for an outfield player in the weekend round of games, Las Palmas forward Kevin-Prince Boateng getting sent off for the second time this season after picking up two bookings against Atlético Madrid. He certainly is making a name for himself over here, one way or another! Sporting assistant coach Jaume Torres was also sent to the stands early on in the Friday night game at Villarreal though for telling the referee where to stick it, and he could be given a bigger ban! Both will at least miss next weekend’s games together with nine players who completed the five yellow card cycle, Albentosa (Deportivo), Mantovani (Leganés) and Oier (Osasuna), who all picked up their tenth bookings of the season, and Savic (Atlético), Fontàs (Celta), Aarón Martín (Espanyol), Ponce (Granada), Jesé (Las Palmas) and Joaquín Correa (Sevilla), who were all given their fifth.
