More red cards for coaching staff than players this weekend, with one each for assistants from Huesca, Athletic Bilbao and Espanyol. Huesca’s Sergio Pardo in particular got his marching orders for protesting about Estrada Fernández’s decision to allow Levante’s equaliser (see “White Stick” section for more!), and Chimy Ávila was also red-carded after Estrada booked him for the second time for his complaints after the final whistle. Elsewhere Rayo’s Advíncula was sent off as well for a second bookable offence at Valencia, and Canales (Betis) and Cabrera (Getafe) will also have to serve out a one match ban next weekend after picking up their fifth yellow cards of the season. PS Ávila was let off one of his yellow cards, so he will be available to play next Saturday.
