Not too much controversy
last weekend, with only 49 yellow cards and three reds, one of the lowest
totals of the season. Only a couple of incidents worthy of note, with Losantos
Omar getting his underwear in a twist by ignoring his linesman's offside flag
when Mallorca's Novo went clear on the wing, and then having to eat humble pie
and go back on his decision after Eto'o scored from his cross and the Deportivo
players protested. Valladolid were unhappy with Pérez Burrull when he
waved play on after Celta's Mido blocked the ball with his hand in the penalty
area near the end of their game, and Villarreal felt that Moreno Delgado had
been harsh on them when he left them with nine men before half time against
Recreativo. (30.04.03) |
