The performances by our men
in black were so good this week that two of them were chased off the pitch by
angry fans. González Vázquez helped Real Sociedad on the way to a
possible league title after failing to award the home side a penalty when Xabi
Alonso handled in the area, and then sent off Sandro for two yellow cards which
were dubious to say the least. All in all eight yellow cards for the
Andalucians, and police had to escort González off the pitch at the end.
Similar scenes too at Rayo
Vallecano, where Daudén Ibáñez upset Doña Teresa
and her supporters with seven yellow cards and a red for the home side against
Osasuna, which with the accumulation of cards leaves them short of three
players for their next game. Fans beat down on the extendable tunnel as the
referee left the field of play. (27.05.03) |
