Another weekend of doubts
over penalties. Velasco Carballo awarded one to Deportivo when Scaloni fell
under Duda's challenge, "Duda" the name and "duda" the nature. On the other
hand Atlético's Gronkjaer didn't get one from Moreno Delgado even though
he had a Sevilla defender crawling all over him, and Fernández
Borbolán turned a blind eye to a late appeal from Webó against
Barcelona. Elsewhere Undiano Mallenco missed the fact that Mallorca's Romeo
controlled the ball with his hand before scoring his side's first goal against
Real Sociedad, and Bernd Schuster complained (yet again) that there was a foul
in the play leading up to Espanyol's first goal against his Levante. Schuster
was booked again for protesting, and seems to be picking up even more red and
yellow cards as a coach than he did as a player! (08.03.05) |
