A very quiet weekend after the problems of the last fortnight or so, with only one red card and no penalties at all awarded by referees. There could have been one penalty though at the Bernabeu stadium had Ramírez Domínguez not turned down an appeal by Maxi López after he was felled by Roberto Carlos. That was about the only questionable decision he made though, and for once the performance of the man in black did not steal the headlines from the players. (12.04.05)
