Iturralde González
proved that at least some referees have a sense of humour when he prepared his
report of the match between Real Madrid and Barcelona this weekend. The match
official commented that a spectator (in fact the enormously painful Jimmy Jump)
ran on the pitch just before the start of the game, kicking out at the ball and
throwing a black shirt at Ronaldinho and Ronaldo before being tackled (rather
heavily we were pleased to see) by the security guards. Iturralde goes on to
say that "another spectator also ran on just before the beginning of the second
half, this time without kicking the ball and without throwing a shirt". Well he
couldn't, could he, as he wasn't wearing one? It was non other than that other
pain in the (galactic) ass, streaker Mark Roberts! (22.11.05) |
