Undiano Mallenco has not
been known in the past for dishing out too many cards, but this weekend he made
up for it with eight yellows and two reds in the game between Real Sociedad and
Real Madrid. The visitors were not happy with him though after he awarded a
penalty for what he considered to be a foul by Roberto Carlos on De Paula, and
then sent off Sergio Ramos later in the game. Madrid seem to be going through a
bad patch with referees, quite the contrary to Barcelona, who were awarded two
penalties by Ramírez Domínguez (although he did give one against
them later on). Luck of champions? (29.11.05) |
