Nothing really major this
weekend, but decisions in many of the games which were questioned by one or
another side. Ayza Gámez ruled out a late goal by Blago which would have
given Alavés a point against Osasuna, and Rodríguez Santiago also
disallowed a strike by Mallorca's Pisculichi at Bilbao after Lafuente and
Gurpegui ran in to each other, reportedly for a foul which was more than
questionable. Megía Davila awarded a penalty to Cádiz against
Betis which only he saw, and Fernández Borbolán, Pérez
Lasa and Velasco Carballo turned down strong penalty claims by Real Madrid,
Deportivo and Zaragoza respectively. Rubinos Pérez was also not popular
with the Barcelona fans after sending off their captain Puyol after booking him
twice for handling the ball, even though there was little he could do about
either. (11.04.06) |
